How to use it
This visual aid can make always-dark, always-bright or colour-channel pixel anomalies easier to notice without capturing anything from the display.
- Clean the screen gently, use its normal resolution and choose a comfortable brightness.
- Open the runner in a new tab; inside it, request fullscreen with a separate button if desired.
- Start inspection and manually review black, white, red, green, blue and grey. Stop immediately if uncomfortable.

Dust, scaling and display processing can resemble a defect; confirm under ordinary content.
Method and definitions
- Each field is one exact CSS solid colour; there is no timer or automatic cycling.
- Previous/Next buttons and Left/Right/Space keys change the field deliberately.
- The original setup tab remains open, and fullscreen is requested only from its own control.
Limits and edge cases
- This is not a calibrated panel test, hardware diagnosis or warranty decision.
- Browser colour management, scaling, subpixel layout, viewing distance and screen contamination affect observations.
- A single observation does not identify the defect type or whether a manufacturer considers it acceptable.
Privacy
The runner does not capture the screen, photograph pixels, upload a result or retain observations.
