Use this calculator for educational ideal-resistor relationships where V = IR and P = VI apply directly.

Method and definitions

  • The six pairs are V/I, V/R, V/P, I/R, I/P, and R/P using V = IR and P = VI.
  • Square-root forms solve V and I when resistance and power are known.

Limits and edge cases

  • Only ideal steady DC resistive circuits are covered; no AC phase, reactance, tolerance, or temperature behavior is modelled.
  • This is not wire sizing, protection selection, component certification, or electrical-code compliance advice.
